WHO @ Global Hepatitis Summit 2025

The World Health Organization (WHO) announces: The 19th Global Hepatitis Summit (GHS 2025), marking the 50th anniversary of the International Symposium on Viral Hepatitis and Liver Disease, will take place from March 18 to 21, 2025, in Los Angeles, United States of America.

The summit will showcase the latest scientific advancements in viral hepatitis across three main tracks: basic and translational research, clinical practice, and public health. The year 2025 has been designated by WHO as a pivotal year to assess progress toward the 2030 goals for the elimination of hepatitis B and C. Accordingly, GHS 2025 will review achievements to date and explore future perspectives in research, clinical care, and public health interventions needed to eliminate hepatitis.

This event will not only serve as a cutting-edge research conference but also as a platform for networking and knowledge exchange. Dedicated programs for healthcare professionals and inspiring workshops for those working in the fields of liver disease and hepatitis will be featured. Renowned speakers will present the most exciting recent findings in the field and provide insights into research and patient management.

The World Health Organization will participate in several key sessions and side events at the summit to share progress toward elimination goals and disseminate the latest scientific developments in the prevention and treatment of viral hepatitis.
