Birjand University of Medical Sciences (BUMS) is a prominent leader in medical education and research situated in Birjand, South Khorasan Province, Iran. Founded in 1985, it has been addressing the healthcare needs of eastern Iran for nearly four decades and currently enrolls over 3,300 students. BUMS specializes in healthcare sciences, including medicine and dentistry, and consists of several schools and faculties, such as the Faculty of Health, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Paramedical Sciences, and Faculty of Pharmacy, among others. It comprises a total of 10 educational departments.
