Professor Shimon, Professor of George Emil Palade University of Romania, visited Birjand University of Medical Sciences
On Monday May 30, 2022, Professor Adrian Shimon, who was invited to give a speech at Birjand University, visited Birjand University of Medical Sciences. This meeting was held in the form of a scientific, educational and research MOU between Birjand University of Medical Sciences and George Emil Pladeh University in Targu Mures, Romania.
While visiting Birjand University of Medical Sciences, Professor Shimon had a meeting with the Vice- Chancellor of research and technology of the university and the head of the health technology department of the university and discussed the increase of scientific exchanges.
During this meeting, while enumerating the potentials of Birjand University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Miri emphasized the importance of international scientific exchanges in line with the macro scientific policies of the country.
Dr. Hekmati, the head of international affairs of the vice-chancellor of research and
technology of the university, pointed out that the follow-up to the
implementation of the MOU between the two universities, including the exchange of professors and students, as well as the gaining educational and research grants is in progress.
It is worth mentioning that George Emil Plade University, with more than eleven
thousand students, is one of the 5 largest universities in Romania in the field of
medical sciences, which also has an international branch in Hamburg, Germany.
