Removing a massive tumor located in the patients leg by Dr. Qahemi and his team of surgeons
The operation of removing a tumor located in the patient's leg which was massive and big in size was performed successfully by Dr Qaemi and his team of surgeons
surgery, Dr. Ghaemi (neurosurgeon) together with Dr. Mahdi Ghoncheh (specialist
plastic and reconstructive surgeon) and Dr. Abbaspoor (orthopedic surgeon)
performed a uncommon
surgery in Razi educational-research and treatment Hospital in Birjand,on
Tuesday morning, April 24, 2018.

University president informed that the patient was a 32 years old woman
from a village in Nehbandan county. She came to the hospital about 3 or 4 months
ago and there was a tumor on her body which was small at first. Biopsy procedures were used to make a diagnosis. Its origin was the nerve of her leg. Dr. Kazem Ghaemi added: "we ensured the patient that the surgery will be performed in Razi Hospital by a
team of specialists".

By pointing out that this is an uncommon case and it is the first time he
observed it, university president continued: "a massive tumor which was big in
size was observed between her leg and her medial malleolus.In this operation, tumor was removed, the wound was reconstructed; but for final treatment we should wait for the
pathological results which will be prepared in a week or ten days".
