Welfare Services:
The Health Garden Complex provides low-cost welfare services to both colleagues and the private sector including restaurant services and proceedings to marriage ceremonies, formal meetings, workshops, and student celebrations. With an area of 10,000 square meters, the complex holds two halls with 200 seats each, a restaurant, prepared food delivery service, coffee shop, swimming pool, and an outdoor futsal field.
There are several inns in Birjand and across the Southern Khorasan Province that provide services to guests and colleagues from across Iran.
Agreements are signed with other universities and certain hotels and inns in cities with religious and sight-seeing attractions.
Patient companions and on-duty colleagues in Tehran can enjoy services in the Tehran-based suite after an introduction letter is issued.
To follow guidelines of the Employees’ Sports Policy-making Committee, the university has appointed sports boards in futsal (for men), volleyball, ping-pong, badminton, mountain climbing, public sports, and physical readiness (for women).
The university has two sports complexes with futsal, volleyball, basketball, ping-pong, badminton, bodybuilding, and shooting facilities as well as an artificial turf football field and outdoor swimming pool in Birjand. An indoor swimming pool is also under construction with 50% physical progress.
